Tucker Ellis congratulates the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Team at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law on its first-place victory at the Midwest Black Law Students Association’s Regional Competition in Chicago last weekend. Teammates Jeffery Carr, a two-time Tucker Ellis summer associate who will begin as an associate this fall, and Jasmine Taylor are 3Ls at the law school.

Coached by Brandon Cox, the team also placed first in the Best Oralists category and received second place for their Respondent Brief. Jeff and Jasmine will compete at the National Competition next month in Little Rock, Arkansas.
