On December 2, Carl Muller and Christine Snyder presented “NLRA and the Non-Union Workplace: New Traps for the Unwary,” a CLE webcast sponsored by the Ohio State Bar Association. Carl and Christine discussed Section 7’s application to non-union workplaces, explored what constitutes concerted activity, and reviewed NLRB’s scrutiny of employee handbooks and policies, including cell phone use, confidentiality, employee conduct, and use of company logos.
