On September 13, James Hemmings participated on a panel at the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturer’s (AHAM) 12th Bi-Annual Product Safety & Liability Conference. The one-day conference of professionals in the appliance industry focused on product safety, product liability prevention and defense, and regulations on product safety. James, along with AHAM members, practicing attorneys, CPSC staff, and Health Canada staff, discussed their experiences and best practices regarding reporting requirements in the United States and Canada, focusing on how to put the requirements into practice and the challenges companies face in implementing them. The conference was held in Arlington, Virginia.
