Christopher J. Caryl

Chris Caryl represents clients in products liability, mass tort litigation, and commercial disputes in courts across the United States.

His litigation and trial experience includes asbestos, product liability, and fire subrogation, and he has tried several cases to verdict. Chris currently serves as national coordinating counsel for several corporations in asbestos litigation. He has written and argued appeals on Ohio’s Asbestos Tort Reform, personal jurisdiction, and other issues.

In law school, Chris was an editor of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Journal of Law and Health. His law note, “Malpractice and the Other Legal Issues Preventing the Development of Telemedicine,” has been referenced by numerous publications since it was published in 1998.

A believer in giving back to the community, Chris has built homes with Habitat for Humanity, represented indigent clients for the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and is the partner in charge of the Tucker Ellis Pro Bono program. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, as well as running and hiking.
