On September 19, Caroline Tinsley and Elizabeth Cummings spoke at DRI’s seminar on Talc Litigation: Medical and Scientific Issues. First, Caroline explored the difference between asbestiform and non-asbestiform, the positions taken regarding each by the plaintiffs and defense, and scientific tests used to determine the mineral type. Later, she and Elizabeth conducted a breakout session on Daubert and future challenges and past orders in the talc litigation. The seminar was held on September 19-20 in Washington, D.C.
