On September 11, Chelsea Smith spoke at DRI’s 2021 Fire Science and Litigation Seminar. Speakers tackled a variety of topics, including key issues with fire protection systems and emerging fire hazards in the marijuana industry; litigation trends and the use of outside counsel; and legal ethics issues when working with experts. Chelsea addressed the interplay between counsel and fire investigators in both the public and private sectors. The three-day seminar was held September 9-11 in Washington, D.C.
