On April 8, Ronie Schmelz moderated a panel at Hairstory Studio’s Sustainable Beauty Summit. The program featured top industry experts sharing insights on sustainability in the beauty industry ranging from clean ingredients and formulas to conscious consumerism. Ronie’s panel focused on “greenwashing” –  or the use of unsubstantiated claims in marketing a product to deceive consumers into believing that it is environmentally friendly.
