On July 31, Vicky Vance participated on a panel discussing the new HIPAA Privacy & Security Rules at a seminar held on the Tri-C Metro campus. The rules, which take effect September 23, 2013, impose new privacy obligations on health care providers and business associates servicing those providers. More than 130 people attended the event.
