Carter Strang has accepted an appointment by Shaker Heights Mayor Earl Leiken as a citizen member of the Shaker Heights Neighborhood Revitalization & Development Committee. The committee is responsible for reviewing and overseeing development efforts by the city’s departments of neighborhood revitalization and economic development. Carter, a Shaker Heights resident for more than 35 years, is a graduate of the city’s Citizens Police Academy and a past citizen member of its Safety and Public Works Committee.
