Court News Ohio, a service of the Office of Public Information of the Supreme Court of Ohio, published “Opening Opportunities,” focusing on the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s (CMBA) Louis Stokes Scholars Program. Carter Strang created the award-winning program in 2012 during his tenure as CMBA president to identify and encourage youth who are interested in careers in law and ultimately grow the representation of minorities in the legal profession. The program has served 88 scholars to date, some of whom will graduate from law school this year and five of whom are already employed with Cleveland law firms.  Tucker Ellis has long supported the program by hiring Stokes Scholars every summer.
