David Landever Joins Tucker Ellis as Partner in Mass Tort & Product Liability Practice

November 2020

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that David Landever has joined the firm as a partner in its Mass Tort & Product Liability practice. Mr. Landever focuses on complex civil litigation with particular emphasis on product liability matters involving medicine, science, industrial hygiene, and engineering.

Over the course of his more than 20-year career, Mr. Landever has managed and participated in numerous federal and state trials taken to verdict on matters involving occupational/environmental exposures, medical devices, pharmaceutical drugs, insurance, and consumer fraud. He also has successfully argued before the Ohio Supreme Court, presented evidence in several MDL Daubert proceedings, and participated in the negotiation, execution, and drafting of multiple consolidated mass tort settlements.

“The breadth of David’s experience, both in and out of the courtroom, particularly in the use of epidemiology and other scientific evidence, is a strategic addition that will positively impact the legal services we provide in in our practice group,” said Mass Tort & Product Liability Chair Laura Kingsley Hong. “We are excited to have this outstanding addition to our national practice.”

Mr. Landever received his law degree with distinction from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Miami University.
