On June 19, Cleveland’s Karamu House will present the live debut of “Freedom on Juneteenth,” commemorating the ending of slavery in America. Tucker Ellis is a longtime sponsor of Karamu House, the country’s oldest African American producing theatre, where people from different races, religions, and economic backgrounds come together through the arts.
