Rita Maimbourg Receives 2019 Joan Gross ’76 Annual Fund Award
October 2019
Congratulations to Rita Maimbourg, selected by Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Law’s Office of Alumni Relations & Development as this year’s recipient of the Joan Gross ’76 Annual Fund Award. The honor is awarded annually to an alum who demonstrates extraordinary leadership by advocating for the law school annual fund, fostering a culture of philanthropy for the law school, volunteering with the law school’s Annual Giving or Development Office, and donating to the annual fund. The Office of Alumni Relations & Development presented the award to Rita on October 11.
Rita is the catalyst behind Tucker Ellis’s consistently stellar participation in the law school’s alumni fund, driving results to 100% among the firm’s 43 CWRU School of Law alumni. Tucker Ellis has both the largest number of alumni and the largest group of law firm participants in the annual fund.
Among her other notable CWRU School of Law involvement, Rita is a member of the Society of Benchers. She has served as an adjunct professor of Trial Tactics, and she served for several years on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association.
