Amy A. Klimek

Amy Klimek has nearly two decades of experience advising and defending clients in environmental, energy, and product matters.

In the environmental and energy arena, Amy provides valuable environmental compliance and litigation counseling based on her extensive knowledge of state and federal environmental programs, including RCRA, CERCLA, SMCRA, CWA, CAA, and TSCA. She represents clients in administrative, state, and federal courts. Amy also performs environmental due diligence in corporate and real estate transactions, as well as environmental audits.

In the product liability arena, Amy is experienced in all facets of corporate discovery, fact and expert depositions, and trial preparation. She also has experience in defending toxic tort cases, particularly in asbestos defense.

An experienced litigator, Amy is skilled in drafting complaints, responses, motions, written discovery, and other pleadings. She has also drafted comments to proposed legislation and prepared public hearing testimony.

  • Participated in the establishment of a pretrial strategy including drafting of pleadings and written discovery responses to be utilized nationwide
  • Prepared complaints, responses, motions, written discovery, and other pleadings in a complex three-year multiparty CERCLA recovery action resulting in a favorable settlement for client
