Dina Lupancu

Dina Lupancu is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to fit the unique needs of clients in both complex civil litigation and transactional matters.

Dina has experience defending claims across a myriad of industries and verticals, including those involving commercial litigation, personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, and other professional liability actions. She manages all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including preparing and responding to pleadings, fact investigation, engaging in written and oral discovery, developing defense strategies, conducting witness interviews, drafting motions, and oral argument. On the transactional side, Dina uses her extensive writing skills to support clients in their real estate and corporate endeavors.

Additionally, Dina has obtained favorable results at the pleading and summary judgment stages in her representation of insurance companies in contract disputes and prosecution of counterclaims.

During law school, as a law clerk for two Chicago firms, Dina gained experience in mass tort litigation, products liability, catastrophic loss, and insurance subrogation. As a law student, she served on the Chicago-Kent Law Review and its nationally ranked Trial Team. She also dedicated her time to teaching first-year law students in Legal Writing and worked as a Lexis Research Associate. Upon graduating from law school, Dina was one of 12 students chosen to be inducted into the Bar and Gavel Society, an organization that recognizes students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding service to the law school, the community, and the legal profession.

Dina’s various leadership roles and engagement with judges, professors, and law students prepared her for a career in legal advocacy. Her ability to understand, organize, and communicate complicated information, along with her interpersonal skills, makes her a valuable asset to clients.

Dina is an active member and editing contributor of a charitable organization that provides international assistance to those in need living in third-world countries. She has traveled to Haiti, Nepal, Moldova, and Romania to help fulfill the charity’s mission. In her spare time, Dina enjoys traveling, biking the Chicago lakefront, and exploring new restaurants.
