Eric Garavaglia represents clients in business litigation, with a focus on bankruptcy and restructuring.
Eric has executed litigation strategies for bankruptcy and general litigation matters in state, district, and bankruptcy courts. He represents official committees, unsecured and secured creditors, debtors, financial institutions, post-confirmation trustees, and asset purchasers in chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, and counsels business clients on complex local, state, and federal bankruptcy issues.
While in law school, Eric served as a student advocate for the Notre Dame Tax Clinic, and worked as a summer clerk in the Special Prosecutions Bureau, Consumer Fraud Unit of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. He also gained experience while working as a corporate counsel extern in the in-house legal department of a middle-market manufacturing company.
Eric is an avid Chicago and Notre Dame sports fan and comic book enthusiast.
