Ferlin P. Ruiz defends an interesting assortment of companies in product liability and toxic tort defense cases.
He plans discovery, deposes witnesses, prepares and opposes motions, and handles each matter from the filing of the complaint through trial or case resolution. He has studied and worked with complex systems and machinery, having worked in the biotechnology industry, and has training and experience with aviation and aerospace products. In addition, his clients have included construction businesses, service contractors, electrical power companies, and talc suppliers. He also works with clients who are manufacturers of heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, automobile components and products, electrical controls, boilers, valves, and pumps in personal injury and wrongful death matters.
Ferlin attended the University of California at Berkeley and double-majored in Integrative Biology and Economics. He is a member of the American Bar Association.
He and his wife love music and sports and enjoy watching their son, a musician, perform on the drum line or in the marching band. He is a big fan of basketball and superbike motorcycle racing and can be found in basketball gyms or riding the scenic twisted roads of the California mountains or coasts on his motorcycle.
