Scott Hunsaker defends clients as both national and local counsel in product liability, premises liability, commercial motor vehicle accidents, and general personal injury matters.
He focuses his practice on toxic and mass torts, including asbestos, benzene, silica, coal mine dust, and talc. He also represents a large corporate client in general personal injury matters arising from commercial motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.
Scott is experienced in all aspects of civil litigation from pre-suit investigation to jury trials, including the intermediate stages of motion practice, discovery, and depositions. Based on his years of experience, he is now responsible for developing, advising, and implementing the appropriate strategy for all phases of litigation. Scott’s experience in general civil litigation includes personal injury, premises liability, construction law, automobile liability, and landlord-tenant liability. Scott also dedicates time to pro bono matters, representing indigent clients who cannot afford legal representation.
In law school, Scott was a law clerk intern for Federal Magistrate Judge David Noce of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. As a law clerk, he prepared substantive opinions and observed all phases of federal litigation from first appearance to sentencing, including jury trials.
